I'm referring to what occurs in, say, thumbnail mode of feh, whereby if you move mouse cursor over the thumbnails, the one under the cursor is tinted blue; another instance of tinting I'm referring to is that thumbnails marked for deletion are tinted red.
Now, that's the behaviour of feh I've seen on my laptop; on my desktop machine, OTOH, the tinting is not transparent. Instead, I get solid blue or red solid rectangles over the thumbnails. I imagine this is something to do with the giblib library, but alas I am neither familiar with the intricacies of giblib nor imlib, hence am a little stumped. I would not be averse to investigating this myself a bit, but could use some hints to get a head start on this.
